What do I do?

Based in Bishop Auckland and working across the North East, I'm a location photographer - I don't work from a studio. I come to you with professional portable lighting to create beautiful, studio-quality images at home, at work, at church or outdoors.

Why don't I work from a studio?

I made a deliberate choice not to have a studio.

People are more relaxed on their own territory. At home, at work, at your favourite outdoor spot, or at your church. Kids are happier, dogs are calmer, families are more natural, and business teams don't lose half a day travelling to a studio.

It also means your photos have more character. A studio backdrop is the same for everyone. Your home, your garden, your workplace, or a place that means something to you makes the image personal.

I bring full professional portable lighting with me, so you still get beautiful, soft, studio-quality light - just without the plain background and the pressure of a studio. I can create a clean, professional look in your living room, a meeting room, a dark church, or outside at sunset.

In short: you feel more at ease, we waste less time, and your photos look like you - not like everyone else's studio portraits.
